For this project, we installed a corrugated sandwich-panel roof on a concrete warehouse in the Torrefarrera area.

The project began with an industrial building featuring a prefabricated concrete structure, where it was necessary to enclose the roof with a solution that was strong, lightweight, and well-insulated. To achieve this, corrugated sandwich panels were used—a system commonly employed in industrial roofs due to its quick installation, insulating properties, and clean finish.

Sandwich panel for industrial roofing

Corrugated sandwich panels are a widely used solution in industrial buildings because they combine exterior protection, insulation, and interior finishing in a single component.

In this project, the panel is installed on top of the existing concrete structure, allowing large roof areas to be covered in a neat and efficient manner.

The images show the progress of the construction project: the open concrete structure, the crane-assisted assembly, and the final result with the roof already in place.

Benefits of the Solution

This cover offers several important improvements:

Quick assembly, ideal for industrial projects.

Good insulation against heat and cold.

Lightweight, suitable for prefabricated structures.

Protection from the rain, thanks to the overlaps, fasteners, and trim.

A clean finish, both on the exterior and interior of the building.

Final result

The result is a clean, functional industrial roof that is ready for the facility’s daily use.

The combination of a concrete structure and corrugated sandwich panels provides a durable, efficient solution that can be constructed quickly.
