Standard Cellular Polycarbonate Panels are polycarbonate sheets with honeycomb structures that provide the product with insulation and resistance. All polycarbonate sheets are protected from ultraviolet rays by co-extrusion of U.V. absorbers on the outer side.

The fastening system must allow free expansion of the sheeting, therefore rigid fastenings or through bolts are not recommended. Always provide sufficient clearance between the bore and the screw.
Whenever possible, the ribs should be provided in the direction of the maximum slope of the sheet, thus ensuring the minimum accumulation of dust in the alveoli.
The blades require a longitudinal and/or transverse support structure that can be of any nature or geometry. In the modulation, the maximum dimensions of the sheet must be respected according to its thickness and loads to be supported and be compatible with an adequate cutting.
The sheets are protected by a film on both sides indicating which side is protected from solar radiation.
When it is necessary to seal the joints, the compatibility of the polycarbonate with the sealant must be ensured (neutral silicone is recommended).
It is essential to cover the cells to prevent dust from entering the interior of the sheet. Aluminum tape is recommended at the ends: smooth at the top and porous, allowing condensation water to drain out at the bottom.
In case of the need to perforate the sheet, fastening buttons should be used.
