Side Flashing for Sandwich Panel — The side flashing closes the edges of the roof and protects the panel edge from water and wind. The side wall flashing covers the joint between the panel and a wall. Here you have both types for roof panels and for tile-effect panels, made from 0.6 mm galvanised steel and sold per linear metre.
Measure the length of each side edge of the roof and of each junction with a wall, and add a small margin for the overlaps between pieces. Fix them with flashing screws. For the top of the roof you will also need a ridge flashing.
It closes the edge of the roof, protects the panel edge and its insulation from rain and wind, and leaves a clean finish.
