Features, applications and selection criteria

Ridge Flashing for Sandwich Panel — The ridge flashing closes the highest line of the roof, where the two roof slopes meet. Here you will find all our ridge flashings for sandwich panels, smooth and die-cut, for standard roof panels and for tile-effect panels in tile red, slate grey and aged albero. They are made from 0.6 mm galvanised steel sheet and sold per linear metre.

Smooth or die-cut ridge flashing

Die-cut ridge flashing: its edge is cut to the shape of the panel profile, so it sits on the ribs or on the tile waves without leaving gaps for water, wind or birds.
Smooth ridge flashing: straight edges. It is the simplest option and is also used to finish other junctions on the roof.

Which ridge flashing to choose for your panel

References 2015 and 2016: for ribbed and standing-seam roof sandwich panel, in the standard sheet colours (white, red, green, metallic grey, slate grey and cream, among others).
References RT1015 and RT1016: for tile-effect sandwich panel in tile red.
References RG1015 and RG1016: for tile-effect panel in slate grey (RAL 7022).
References RA1015 and RA1016: for tile-effect panel in aged albero.

Always choose the ridge flashing in the same colour as the panel, so the roof looks uniform.

How to work out how much ridge flashing you need

Measure the length of the ridge line, from one end of the roof to the other. The pieces are fitted with overlaps, so add a small margin. Fix them with flashing screws. What is the ridge of a roof?

It is the highest line of the roof, where the slopes meet, and also the piece that covers it. On a sandwich panel roof it is a steel flashing that stops water getting in through the top joint.

How is the ridge flashing fixed to the sandwich panel?
